Dar Jameel, meaning the House of Beauty and Grace, is an oasis of peace and tranquillity, an intimate and relaxing space amid the bustling life of the medina.

There is a large terrace, where a relaxation room with 360 degree views to Spain, the Bay of Tangier and the medina, is located. Situated in the perfect location, with easy access by car or foot, the house is a short distance from the port, the beach and the Ville Nouvelle and is cooled by sea breezes throughout the year. Lovingly restored and renovated by its owners, Dar Jameel provides elegance and grandeur, combined with efficiency and comfort.

The house is built on five levels with eight large bedrooms leading from a central courtyard. Richly decorated in traditional Fes style, rooms contain magnificent stucco ceilings, four poster beds and traditional divans. A generous breakfast is included in the price of rooms. Local, organic food is used whenever possible.

Dar Jameel can provide accommodation for up to 16 people. We can help create your special event and provide full board for you and your group be it a family celebration, conference or workshop. Please enquire about long term or party bookings.

At Dar Jameel we are proud of the excellent care we offer our guests. Staff are available 24 hours a day for your convenience. Idriss, our house manager, Fatima, our maid and Mohammed, our night porter are there for you, whether to serve you tea, help organize your trip, arrange taxis, or do your laundry.
